Whistler is a year round resort, so whether you are looking at a snowy winter wedding on Whistler Blackcomb or a small intimate summer wedding at the Stone Circle, you know that there is an amazing variety of activities for both you and your guests to enjoy, whilst staying here.
For a small mountain town, there are a lot of great vendor options to choose from for your Whistler wedding. If you are looking for Whistler wedding venue options, here is a list of my favourites.
Audain Art Museum
The Audain Art Museum is a stunning architectural masterpiece located in the heart of Whistler village, hidden amongst the forest, designed by Patkau Architects.
The Audain’s beautiful architectural design is a great unique venue for your wedding, with minimal modern architecture combined with the natural forest backdrop at the base of Whistler and Blackcomb mountains.
The museum’s reception halls and galleries provide a variety of options for your wedding ceremony and reception, including the meadow outside. One of my favourite features of the Audain Art Museum is the porch and Grand Staircase - another great option to for your wedding ceremony location.
You can find out more information here about the Audain Art Museum as a Whistler wedding venue.

Nicklaus North Golf Course
Nicklaus North Golf Course is located a few minutes drive north of Whistler village, and definitely a location with some of the most amazing views of Green Lake.
Nicklaus North Golf course’s restaurant, Table Nineteen, has one of the best patios in Whistler , it overlooks the float plane dock on Green Lake and gets the sun all afternoon until it sets in the evening.
Nicklaus North is ideal for either a small intimate wedding or a wedding celebration for up to 120 friends and family.
This Whistler wedding venue is an option for weddings at any time of year.
Where the venue is located on the lake, you don’t need to go far to capture beautiful wedding party photos. A short walk from the clubhouse is the boardwalk and the ‘spit’ where the river meets the lake, and one of my favourite photos is the natural arch from the surrounding trees on the walk to the spit.

Nita Lake Lodge is a beautiful boutique lakeside hotel located just south of Whistler village in Whistler’s Creekside village.
Nita Lake Lodge is nationally recognized as a premiere destination wedding venue for couples who want to celebrate their special day in the mountains with the comfort of a ‘home away from home’ feel.
The hotel offers a variety of indoor and outdoor spaces including the Porte-cochère, a stunning wooden architectural arch with unique unobstructed views of Whistler mountain.

The Stone Circle
The Stone Circle is a beautiful intimate wedding ceremony location in Whistler, with views of Alta Lake and the surrounding forest. Conveniently located just off a trail, but very well hidden - the Stone Circle makes for a great intimate Whistler wedding venue.
The Stone Circle is a perfect venue for elopements and weddings - allowing up to 40 guests. You are outside amongst nature, but if it rains there is a beautiful wooden cabin a short walk away. The cabin has a light and open look to it, and you will feel like you are outdoors still amongst the trees.
Around the corner from the Stone Circle is Lakeside Park - a beautiful area great option for bride and groom portraits, or family formals.

Squamish Lil’wat Cultural Centre

The SLCC is the perfect venue to celebrate the marriage between two people with their closest friends and family.
The venue offers three different options for wedding ceremonies and receptions, the Great Hall, Mezzanine Patio and the stunning Istken Hall, a beautiful circular room with windows the whole way around with views of the surrounding forest and mountains.
Behind the venue, a few steps from the Mezzanine Patio, is a beautiful nature trail amongst the trees - a great place to escape for portraits.

Whistler Blackcomb
Whistler Blackcomb is often voted the number 1 ski resort in the world, and during the summer it offers the best bike park too.
Whistler Blackcomb mountains offer the most amazing venue options for your wedding day. One of the more popular spaces is the deck at Steeps grill and wine bar - located at the top of Whistler Mountain within the roundhouse lodge.
If you’re looking for a more private option, why not put your hiking boots or skis on and head up further into the mountains, and get married with spectacular views of Whistler and the surrounding valley, or find a hidden spot amongst the trees. Having lived and skied in Whistler for 12 years, I know some great places on the mountain.
