Veerle & Scott celebrated their wedding at the picturesque Canadian Wilderness Adventures, surrounded by vibrant forests, breathtaking landscapes, and intimate moments. Their day beautifully combined the elegance of the Fairmont Chateau Whistler with the adventurous spirit of Canadian Wilderness Adventures’ Callaghan Base.
Getting Ready at Fairmont Chateau Whistler
The day began with Veerle and Scott preparing separately at the Fairmont Chateau Whistler - a beautiful hotel in the heart of Whistler.
A Forest First Look
Choosing to see each other privately before the ceremony, Veerle and Scott had their emotional 'first look' in a forest near the hotel. The lush greenery created an intimate setting for them to read their personal vows to eachother.
Wedding Party Photos at the Chateau
Following the first look, we captured fun and lively photos with the entire wedding party around the stunning grounds of the Fairmont Chateau Whistler, blending elegance and joy in each shot.
Bride & Groom Portraits by the River
En route to the ceremony location, we stopped by a scenic riverside spot, providing the ideal backdrop for Veerle and Scott's portraits.
Ceremony at Canadian Wilderness Adventures Callaghan Base
The ceremony was held in the forest at Canadian Wilderness Adventures Callaghan Base. Tall trees and vibrant foliage made the setting spectacularly rustic and authentic, reflecting the couple's love for nature and adventure.
Colourful Cocktail Hour and Speeches
Post-ceremony, guests enjoyed a vibrant cocktail hour accented by bold pink and orange florals, complemented by refreshing Aperol Spritzes. There were a few speeches during cocktail hour - a great option if you have lots of speeches planned.
Dinner and Celebrations
Dinner was served at two long tables, creating a relaxed environment where guests could easily chat and connect. Several speeches were given throughout the meal, adding personal touches and plenty of laughter.
Golden Hour Photos with a View of Black Tusk
Just after dinner, Veerle and Scott slipped away for stunning golden hour portraits along Callaghan Valley Road, capturing dramatic views of the iconic Black Tusk mountain. The sunset provided the perfect golden and pink glow, creating unforgettable images.
Vibrant Colours & Unique Touches
The wedding’s vibrant theme shone through with striking floral arrangements by Blackcomb Creative and lively Aperol Spritz cocktails. The bold pinks and oranges beautifully echoed the couple’s bright personalities and adventurous spirits.
