With everything onsite, there was no need to travel, making the morning relaxed and stress-free.

Before the ceremony, Delanie and Alex had their first look in a forested area just a short walk from the hotel. Surrounded by lush greenery, this private moment was so beautiful to photograph.

The ceremony took place at the Rooftop Chapel at the Fairmont Chateau Whistler—a one-of-a-kind ceremony venue with panoramic mountain views. While guests enjoyed live music by Evan Kennedy during cocktail hour, we stayed on the rooftop for a few portraits. The Fairmont’s architecture and mountain views gave us a great variety of backdrops. The couple’s chemistry made photographing them effortless—lots of movement, laughter, and real connection.
Forest Portraits and Iconic Fairmont Architecture
After cocktail hour, we explored another nearby forest location for more couple portraits. Delanie and Alex brought such fun energy to the shoot—it felt like they were just hanging out together, completely in the moment. Before heading to dinner, we made one last stop for portraits around the hotel’s signature interiors and arches, capturing the elegance of the Fairmont Chateau Whistler itself.
Intimate Reception in The Grill Room
Dinner was hosted in The Grill Room, the Fairmont’s signature fine-dining space. With its warm stone fireplace, cherry wood wine cabinets, and soft candlelight, the room created a cozy and romantic ambiance. Bold floral arrangements tied the design together, blending perfectly with the couple’s wedding theme. Delanie and Alex saw the setup privately before guests entered, taking a moment to soak it all in.
Cake Cutting and Closing Moments
To end the evening, the couple cut their modern wedding cake—decorated with bold colours that echoed the floral palette from earlier in the day. It was a beautiful way to wrap up a vibrant and stylish celebration at one of Whistler’s most iconic wedding venues.
