Rainy North Arm Farm Wedding Pemberton

A Rustic Wedding Venue in Pemberton

North Arm Farm in Pemberton is a popular choice for couples looking for a rustic barn venue in the Sea to Sky area. Surrounded by open fields, mountain views, and willow trees, it’s a scenic and flexible location—especially great for weddings that might face unpredictable weather. The farm has a couple of barn spaces to choose from, wide open fields, and beautiful views of Mount Currie, making it an ideal place for any season.

Getting Ready in Whistler

Leila and Sam started their wedding day separately, getting ready with their bridesmaids and groomsmen in Whistler. This time allowed each of them to enjoy the quiet moments before the big celebration. The anticipation built throughout the morning, as they chose to wait until the ceremony to see each other for the first time.

North Arm Farm Ceremony with Rain and Confetti

Due to the rain, the ceremony was moved indoors to North Arm Farm’s main barn. The open front of the barn still felt like you were outdoors - the warm lighting and cozy setup created a welcoming and romantic space for guests. As Leila and Sam walked back down the aisle together as newlyweds, their families tossed confetti, adding a joyful and celebratory touch to the rainy afternoon.

Personal Vows in the Rain

After the ceremony, Leila and Sam stepped outside under umbrellas to exchange private vows. Sharing these words in the rain made the moment even more personal and memorable. The soft sound of rainfall in the background gave them a quiet space just for the two of them.

Portraits at North Arm Farm

We explored the grounds for portraits, walking through the willow trees and fields. Even in the rain, the farm looked stunning. As the weather shifted, the clouds briefly opened to reveal a spectacular view of Mount Currie. It was the perfect moment for a few mountain-backdrop portraits and a reminder that weather can change quickly in the Pemberton Valley.

First Dance in the Rain

Their first dance took place outdoors in the rain. Guests watched from the barn as Leila and Sam swayed together in the rain.

A Fun Cake Surprise

During the reception, Sam added a personal touch with a fun surprise—he arranged for a Smirnoff Ice to be hidden inside their wedding cake. The moment caught Leila off guard completely and had everyone laughing.

Intimate Reception in the Small Barn

Their wedding reception was an intimate late lunch held in one of North Arm Farm’s smaller barns. A Long wooden table and simple florals created a relaxed and intimate setting. It was a great space to enjoy the farm-to-table atmosphere.
